I accept virtually every type of payment, although different payment types create delays until your payment clears, before I will perform services or release goods. I do not accept returns, and will answer questions and provide photographs ad nauseum if required to ensure that buyers know exactly what to expect from my items. Everything that I offer for sale is used, from my own personal household. I do my best to describe items accurately, and generally hear that my items are "better than described". That said, a 20 year-old item will almost NEVER look showroom perfect. In fact, there is something about age on many items that gives them their very charm and warmth like crazing on older ceramics, tarnish in the nooks of old silver, minor scratches on wood furniture. I try to disclose these characteristics, mostly because I believe that they make items better.
If I am retained as a consultant, I will not begin research to source materials (shopping) until my fee has been received and payment has cleared. All services are performed outside of my normal working hours, while I am probably wearing my pajamas, and fees are discounted to reflect this.
